Small Block Chevy
SBC 350, 383, and stroker builds running Holley EFI in place of a carb or as an upgrade from a TBI system.
-
Big Block Chevy
454, 496, and larger BBC builds where the Holley Dominator or HP EFI provides the fuel control required for high-displacement applications.
-
Custom Engine Builds
Any custom combination that needs a standalone EFI system configured from scratch.

Common Issues We Help Solve
These are the most common Holley EFI problems that bring customers in for tuning support. Most can be resolved with targeted calibration adjustments.
Hard Starting & Stalling
Engines that are hard to start hot or cold, or that start and stall immediately, are almost always a fueling or prime pulse issue. Correct prime shot volume, cranking enrichment, and after-start fuel decay fix these in most cases.
Poor Idle & Surging
Rough idle, surging, and hunting are typically caused by incorrect idle fuel targets, poor IAC tuning, or incorrect base timing. Cammed engines require additional idle airflow and spark advance adjustments to hold a stable idle.
Incorrect AFR & Throttle Response
An inaccurate fuel table causes incorrect air/fuel ratios that waste power and can damage the engine over time. Poor throttle response and tip-in stumbles are usually an accel enrichment calibration issue that can be corrected through data log analysis.
Tuning Options
Holley EFI tuning is available remotely or in-person for customers in the Longview, Texas area.
Remote Tuning Support
Send your Holley EFI log files and current calibration file. Tune revisions are returned electronically. Works for customers anywhere in the country and is the most common option for street and swap builds.
Base Startup Calibration
A starting calibration built from your build specs before the engine is run for the first time. Reduces the number of revisions needed to get the engine running correctly and helps prevent damage on the first start.
Street Drivability Tuning
A full log-based calibration refinement cycle covering idle, part-throttle, cruise, and wide-open throttle. Delivered as a complete tune file revision with multiple log-and-revise passes until the car drives cleanly.
Perfect For
Holley EFI tuning support is available for any build running a Holley standalone system.
Holley standalone setups for LS engines in non-GM chassis where factory ECU and harness are not used.
Classic A-body, F-body, and B-body builds upgrading from a carburetor to Holley EFI.
Custom and traditional hot rod builds running a Holley EFI system on a classic small or big block engine.
