How tuning works for Tyler customers

In person, by appointment

Bring the vehicle to the shop in Longview. From most of Tyler it's about a 45-minute drive east on I-20. We go over the combination, log the engine, and make calibration changes on the spot. This is the best option for a first start, idle problems, or drivability issues that need to be seen in person.

Mail-in PCM

For LS swaps on a P01 or P59, you can ship or drop off the PCM and get it back programmed with a swap-ready base tune. Typical turnaround is 1-2 business days after the ECU is received. Order a mail-in LS swap base tune online.

Remote log-and-revise

If you have HP Tuners, a Holley handheld or laptop, or ACES software, you can send data logs and get revised tune files back without leaving Tyler. This works well for refining part-throttle fueling and idle after the engine is already running.

Before you come over

  • Engine and cam specs
  • Injector part number
  • MAP sensor type (1, 2, or 3 bar)
  • Transmission and rear gear ratio
  • Tire size
  • Any data logs you already have

Not sure about some of these? The LS swap startup checklist walks through them.
